Xiaomi Mi Note 4 with transparent rear panel spotted on TENAA

It seems like Xiaomi has another handset in the works with a transparent rear panel. A new Xiaomi smartphone has been spotted on TENAA with the model number M1807E8A and going by the images listed on the Chinese regulatory website, it could feature a transparent back panel. If this is the case, then it will be the company’s second smartphone after the Mi 8 Explorer Edition to feature a clear rear panel. The listing doesn’t give out any specs of the device, but could come with the same hardware as the Mi 8 Explorer Edition.  Going by the images, the smartphone features a vertically stacked dual camera setup on the back with an LED flash in-between. Underneath the rear panel, one can see the device’s circuitry, which apparently mimics the internal components instead of giving a look at the real circuits inside. The screen is speculated to be 5.99-inches in size and in 18:9 display aspect ratio. The image of the handset is not clear enough to say whether it comes with a notch on top or not. The internet seems to be divided on which processor the device could be powered by. Rumours circulating on the web suggest that it could either be running on the Snapdragon 710 SoC, or Qualcomm’s last year flagship SoC, the Snapdragon 835.  Early rumours suggest that the alleged Mi Note 4 might come with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There could be other memory variants as well. The camera on the smartphone is said to offer 4-axis OIS and it could be priced starting at 2,299 Yuan (Rs 23,191 approx). The TENAA page of the device is expected to be soon updated with its specs and we will surely report it to you when this happens.  The Mi Note 3 was launched in November last year in China. It was originally launched with 6GB RAM and 64GB, 128GB internal storage options and later was launched with 4GB RAM.64GB storage. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD display and is powered by a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 SoC. In terms of optics, the handset features a 12MP+12MP dual camera setup with one f/1.8 aperture wide angle lens and a secondary telephoto lens. On the front is a 16MP sensor. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery and was launched running on MIUI 9, based on Android 7.0 Nougat.  Source
