Honor Note 10 specs revealed ahead of July 31 launch

Last week when Honor sent out invites teasing a 'Crazy Fast, Crazy Smart' product launch on August 30 at technology show IFA in Berlin, it was speculated that the company might launch the Honor Note 10 phablet. However, the company has now confirmed that it will launch the phone on July 31 in China. And just a week ahead of the launch, a TENAA listing has reportedly revealed all the specs of the phone.  Let us first start with the display. According to the TENNA listing, the Honor Note 10 will sport a 6.95-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2220. Previous leaks claimed that the phablet will not sport a notch and have an 18.5:9 aspect ratio, which is identical to Samsung’s flagship devices. Under the hood, the Honor Note 10 could be powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 970 octa-core processor and may launch in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants with multiple storage options – 64GB, 128GB, and 512GB. The ‘expansion card capacity’ may be 256GB. The Honor Note 10 was previously reported to come with Huawei's next-gen Kirin 980 processor that the company could launch at IFA. Now coming to optics, the Honor Note 10 is listed with three cameras in total: a dual-camera setup on the back with 16MP + 24MP lenses, and a 13MP front shooter. It will reportedly have a fingerprint sensor at the back panel. The TENAA listing has also revealed that the phablet will have a 4900mAh battery. The phone will run on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with EMUI 8.2 running on top. Previously, a separate report claimed that Honor could launch a Rolls Royce Edition of the Honor Note 10 smartphone. Leakster SlashLeak had posted an image of the device showing the panel with a vertically-aligned dual-camera setup in the centre, followed by a fingerprint sensor. The Honor Note 10 will be an addition to the Honor 10 and Honor 10 GT smartphones lineup. The Chinese conglomerate unveiled the Honor 10 smartphone in May in India. It comes with AI dual cameras and a two-tone glass design. The phone was priced at Rs 32,999 at launch and Honor claims it sold 3 million units of the phone globally in two months. The Chinese conglomerate later launched a more powerful version, the Honor 10 GT, in China. Intext Images
